It seems the next expansion for The Sims 4 has been leaked ahead of time, and it will be taking you to school.

The leak was originally discovered by Twitter user CaptureTheCosmo. Titled Discover University, this expansion doesn't seem too different from the university updates that past Sims games have received. The expansion, which had its page put up on the Xbox One Marketplace, gives a description of what the expansion will be bringing to the table. The expansion will allow your sim to enroll in either the University of Britechester, or the Foxbury Institute, and live on or off-campus. There are various courses your sim can take so they can learn biology, law, computer science, or other useful subjects. They can also take a lesson in trickery with a course in "villainy" if they want to be number one. You can also get some school pride clothes and items, or play pranks on the school your sim isn't currently attending, so there's plenty to do.

This isn't the first, or even fifth, or really even tenth expansion to The Sims 4. The game has, typical for the series, had a lot of expansion packs and DLC for players to enhance their game. The most recent was Realm of Magic, which added in magic, wands, potions, and other weird wizard stuff. Other recent expansions include Island Living, which let you check out a resort and become a mermaid, and Welcome to StrangerVille, which tells the story of a town taken over by mind control plants.

While there's no official release date for The Sims 4: Discover University, the leak mentions December 17th, 2019 as a potential release date. The leak is specifically for the Xbox One version of the game, but it seems very likely it's coming to PC and PlayStation 4 as well.

How do you feel about this expansion? Think you'll pick up Discover University and send your Sims to school? Or are you going to wait for a different expansion to be available? Let us know in the comments below!
