The next Ready or Not update arrives in June 2022 and promises to be Void Interactive's "largest content update yet," delivering new maps, new weapons, and more.
Ready or Not is a spiritual successor to Sierra's SWAT series of first-person shooters, challenging gamers to play as a SWAT team and take down bad guys in tense situations. Thus far, its added new maps and weapons in a January 2022 and February 2022 update. Even more goodies are arriving next month in what Void Interactive is calling "our largest content update yet."
What's Coming in the Next Ready or Not Update?
The first major addition in the next Ready or Not update is "a complete cover system" that can be used by both civilians and suspects alike. If Void Interactive can manage to make this work well, it should add a fair amount of challenge to the game.
Cover system aside, this update will also feature the usual amenities. Players will be able to enjoy new maps, characters, and weapons, although the devs have not specified exactly what we can look forward to in this update.
When Does the Next Ready or Not Update Launch?
The next Ready or Not update arrives in the first week of June 2022 according to the announcement, following some delays that Void Interactive seems to feel pretty bad about overall.
"We know that we've already asked for you to wait for us once, and we know that this delay will come as frustrating news for our community," read the announcement. "These extra few days will be crucial in making the update consistently playable and ready to experience with your friends without forcing our dev team into a crunch period that is all too common in the industry."
