New details about the next New World update have been released by Amazon Games: you'll soon be able to get your hands on a brand-new Blunderbuss weapon.
Things have been relatively quiet for New World in recent months; much of the recent update content was focused on fixing bugs. However, Amazon Games has decided to share a teaser for upcoming content (just like it did with its other game Lost Ark earlier today), and players will soon be able to enjoy new gameplay content -- and a new weapon.
What's Coming in the Next New World Update 'Heart of Madness?'
The first major addition in the next New World update "Heart of Madness" is the epic conclusion to Isabella's Story. Players have been left on a bit of a cliffhanger, but that's all about to change with a final battle against ol' Izzy. This epic adventure will conclude with The Tempest's Heart endgame expedition; players are recommended to be at least Level 60 and have Gearscore 660 or higher.
Also arriving in the next New World update is a new weapon: the Blunderbuss. The Blunderbuss scales on strength and intelligence; basically, Amazon Games just gave mages a shotgun. The Blunderbuss will be split between the Containment tree with close-quarters combat) and the Chaos tree with long-range bombardment. There will also be a new Legendary Weapon Quest series for the Blunderbuss; players can visit Wang Tang Zhi in Ebonscale Reach to start this mission.
