Pathea Games has revealed details of the next My Time at Sandrock update, and this one's big if you love your animals. Pretty soon, you'll be able to cuddle and pet some seriously adorable little critters, and there are also changes to romance, the Tour de Rock event, and the skill tree on the way.
The next My Time at Sandrock update will be called "Builder Bonds", and perhaps the most important element it's introducing is a pet system. You can interact and play with animals, as well as giving them gifts, allowing you to build unforgettable relationships with the little fluffy residents of Sandrock. We're getting more info about this next week, so watch this space.
Changes are also on the way to help your My Time at Sandrock romance feel more realistic. You'll soon be able to hug and kiss your spouse, which should help you express your affection for them more easily. If you're more of a property magnate than a heartthrob, then you'll be pleased to know you'll also be able to share your house designs with other players, which they can then import into their games.
Elsewhere, the Tour de Rock event has been upgraded to Sandrock Running, with more features added to make it a more engaging racing experience. There's now a skill to help you go faster, as well as "changes in the race track", so if you've tried this one out and found it a bit lacking, you should be looking forward to Builder Bonds.
Last but not least, the update is looking to introduce changes to the skill tree, including the ability to go to bed later or build relationships with townspeople more effectively. Pathea says skills will "cover more elements" of your day-to-day life in My Time at Sandrock when the update lands, which is exciting. Stay tuned to TechRaptor for more news on this game.
