A new Phasmophobia ghost has been teased for Update 0.6.2, and that's not all -- we're also getting our first look at the Asylum map rework.

Phasmophobia has been continually updating and refining its gameplay over the years, adding new ghosts and making them better hunters. The next Phasmophobia update is just around the corner, and it looks like this one is adding a ghost that's will make you want to protect your neck.

The Moroi May Be the New Phasmophobia Ghost

Based on what we see, it looks like there's a good chance that the new Phasmophobia ghost coming in Update 0.6.2 will be the Moroi. Although the text of the above image is smudged, it seems like the word fits well.

The Moroi is a sort of vampire ghost from Romania folklore. It is sometimes thought to be the ghost of a dead person who has risen from the grave to steal the life force of the living.

Today's teaser also gives us a first look at the Asylum rework and it looks like the changes are substantial. The devs are "completely rebuilding Asylum from the ground up," making the map a little smaller and adding more diverse themes to its locations. It will feature a Yard, Kitchen, Hospital Wing, Morgue, and unspecified "experimental areas."

Finally, one more addition to the game has been revealed -- each player will soon have their own ID cards shown on the menu board. Certain people within the community will receive special roles. These ID cards also include support for the upcoming Prestige system that's coming in the Progression Update.

While we have a pretty good idea of what one new Phasmophobia ghost might be, the other one is a mystery -- discussion on Reddit can't quite seem to settle on what number 23 could be. You can hunt down all of the other supernatural specters with your friends by buying Phasmophobia in Steam Early Access on PC for $13.99 or your regional equivalent.
