The Oculus Rift team recently held their first conference for E3 for E3 2015. We knew about some of the below games already, but there are a few surprises as well. Check out details on the Oculus Rift hardware here.

That trailer details some of the games, all of which will be available to play on the Oculus Rift at E3 2015.  The first big one is Edge of Nowhere developed by Insomniac Games, a game built exclusively for Virtual Reality. You search through some mountains in the Antarctic in search for a lost expedition team, uncovering an unexpected world that will test your sanity.

Gunfire Games announced Chronos, a fantasy themed dungeon crawler where you explore the depths of a labyrinth. They have an interesting mechanic in that each time the character fails, they are locked out out of the labyrinth for a year, returning with new traits and attributes.

CCP Games showed up with some EVE: Valkyrie to show off. We've known about this game for a while, and if you check out that trailer, it seems like a perfect game for the Oculus Rift.

And as you noticed in the short trailer linked to above, there is a hockey game set to release for the Oculus Rift that is the beginning of a sports collection. One has to wonder how others will work out, but it could be an interesting innovation in what many view as a pretty stagnant genre.

While not all of the developers in the following list showed something off today, each did in fact pledge to develop games for Oculus: Carbon Games, CCP Games, Climax Studios, Coatsink, Glu, Gunfire Games, Harmonix, High Voltage, Ozwe Games, Playful, and Square Enix.

On top of all this, Oculus is investing $10 million in indie game development for games for the Oculus Rift.

What types of games would you like to see for the Oculus Rift? Do you plan on getting one when it comes out? What do you think about the games announced today?
