A new Naraka: Bladepoint map has been announced. Holoroth is a diverse environment consisting of harsh snowfields, sandstorm-tossed deserts, and a majestic plumed castle flanked by floating platforms. It's coming to the game next month.
What do we know about the new Naraka: Bladepoint map?
Since launch, Naraka: Bladepoint has been consistently updated with new heroes and game modes, and now, there's a brand new map on its way to the game. Holoroth is a diverse land of different biomes with an impressive floating castle at its center, and it should provide an exciting new battleground for your Naraka: Bladepoint scrapes. You can check out a trailer showing off some of the new map's areas and how you can use them to your advantage right here.
While you're fighting in Holoroth's snowy areas, you'll need to worry about overexposure to cold weather, which can damage you unless you manage to find campfires for warmth. You'll also need to take care around sandstorms in the desert. As you fight, you'll notice lots of objects strewn around that you can use to your advantage in combat, including falling rocks, vines, and "various installed mechanisms", according to a press release. Intriguing! Holoroth's floating castle emphasizes aerial combat, so you can do battle in the yawning chasms between floating platforms, and there are also the urban areas of Mehtaab and the City of Tang, where you can get up close and personal in city streets and alleyways. All in all, Holoroth is shaping up to be a very solid Naraka: Bladepoint map, so be sure to check it out when it lands on August 19th.
