If you are of the opinion that Rockstar's magnum opus Grand Theft Auto V misses a certain cyberpunk-like angle, you are in luck! A modder has created a mod that allows users to don the familiar guise of Watch_Dogs protagonist Aiden Pearce while they hack their way through Los Santos.
The mod, made by modder julioNIB, adds several mechanics from Watch_Dogs to the open-word game in addition to a new player skin. Players who install the mod will find the familiar weapon wheel from Watch_Dogs present in the game, as well as the game's hacking mechanics that allow you to to hack traffic lights, security cameras and ATMs. You can even start a blackout that will turn off the lights in an area around you.

NPCs can now also report crimes to the police, which means you'll have to be extra careful about going into the city guns blazing. Additionally you can hack trains to make them stop, disrupt a helicopter's systems to make it crash, lock and unlock cars for easy getaways and explode a variety of items for some added chaos. The mod also gives you the ability to remotely control cars, which is especially handy if you want to do some recon before going into dangerous territory.

Quick Take
I love stuff like this. GTA has always been a great platform for player-created content despite Rockstar doing their best to bar players from modifying Grand Theft Auto V due to the online portion of the game. This mod shows you what is possible if you let a modder go at it for a bit, and I have to say that the mechanics from Watch_Dogs seem to be a decent fit for Los Santos.
