At the PC Gaming Show, more information about Escape From Tarkov was revealed. Tarkov started its beta back in 2017 and is an MMO first person shooter set in Russia. They also went into what is coming next to Escape From Tarkov.

The most exciting info, of course, was the new map. It is going to be the biggest map in Tarkov with a ton of buildings to search and explore. They also stated that it will be the most detailed map yet, attempting to emulate a modern city. So, be prepared to search all its secrets.

After that, they talked about patch  0.12.7. Patch 0.12.7 was described as mostly a technical patch that will expand the Customs area by thirty to forty percent. After that, the next update will be overhauling the skill system and adding a new boss for you to encounter. There's a lot more coming this year as well.

In Escape From Tarkov, players enter a world ravaged by conflict and warfare, which has led to the city of Tarkov being abandoned by its residents. You take on the role of a mercenary and choose which side of the conflict you want to be on. From there, you have to make your own choices on how to escape the city that is actively being torn apart.

Dying is a big deal in Tarkov, as you'll lose everything you gained on a raid. So, making sure your backup inventory is safe and sound will be key so you're not starting over from zero. As you progress, you'll level up and unlock new skills to increase your chances of survival. Cooperation will be necessary to survive, but be careful, as there are no rules and a friend can turn into an enemy with the pull of a trigger.

Escape From Tarkov is still in beta with no set release date.
