Frontier has announced a brand new Jurassic World Evolution 2 DLC pack, bringing four new feathered dinosaur species to the forefront. If you thought feathered dinosaurs weren't cool, this DLC's additions should change your mind, and there's a free update on the way for everyone who owns the game as well.

The first of the four new species is Yutyrannus, the Feathered Tyrant. As one of the biggest feathered carnivores, this dinosaur will thrill your park's guests, but you'll need to make sure they're safe as well. The Jeholopterus should make a good addition to your airborne division, as it's a small feathered dinosaur that looks a little bit like a reptilian bat.

Third up is Deinocheirus, a long-armed biped with a duck bill and a hump. It's herbivorous, so you'll find it munching plants, and your guests can marvel at its unlikely form. Finally, there's Sinosauropteryx, a frankly adorable little critter with very sweet downy feathers and a wavy tail. If your guests don't love this dino, then they don't deserve to be in your park, frankly.

If you're not feeling this paid DLC for whatever reason, then rest assured that a free update is also on the way alongside the Feathered Species Pack. The free update will bring remote viewing galleries, which will let your guests see their favorite species up close and personal.

There's also a new cinematic camera mode on the way that should give you some beautiful panoramic views of your park, and if you're a fan of Jurassic World Evolution 2's Sandbox mode, lots of new content is on the way for that as well. Stay tuned for more info on this update.

The Jurassic World Evolution 2 Feathered Species Pack DLC is coming on March 30th and will cost you $7.99 or your local equivalent. That's also when Update 6 is arriving, but that won't cost you anything if you already own the game. You can wishlist the DLC on Steam right now, too, if you like.
