Sony's Playstation 5 Showcase announced that the next generation is set to receive a new Five Nights at Freddy's title: Security Breach.

There wasn't a great deal to go off aside from an ominous, minimalist techno bass loop, creepy neon levels and what sounded like a child crying but Security Breach is likely to provide players with more of the Animatronic creepiness that the series is famed for.

Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach brings its Indie Dev spirit and seeks to combine it with cutting edge gaming technology. The PS5’s next-gen technology promises to enhance the fear and tension beyond what’s been possible before, with real-time ray tracing graphics, 3D Audio and new SSD technology. Steel Wool Studios and ScottGames are working together again to bring the next gaming chapter in the Five Nights at Freddy’s universe.

The trailer was released with the following, suitably creepy introduction on the PlayStation blog:

"Hey, kids! Do you want pizza?! Well, Fazbear Entertainment has spared no expense developing the world’s most extreme family fun center – Freddy Fazbear’s Mega Pizza Plex! At three stories tall, it’s the flashiest, raddest, rockingist, safest* pizzeria the universe has ever seen. Of course, Freddy and the band are excited to meet you! Utilizing the latest in animatronic technology, you can actually party with the stars themselves. So, on your next birthday, let Freddy Fazbear’s Mega Pizza Plex make you a SUPERSTAR!

* Disclaimer: Fazbear Entertainment cannot guarantee guest safety"

At this time we don't know if Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach will be coming to any other platforms, as creator Scott Cawthon hasn't said anything.
