Today, during the King of Fighters XV tournament at EVO Japan, SNK had a new tease to share about the upcoming new Fatal Fury Game.

The tease, broadcasted on Twitch during the tournament, included a single piece of artwork and the wording "New Fatal Fury / Garou Furiously in Development."

That being said, the artwork is certainly full of meaning for fans of the series, as it showcases three of its most relevant characters, Terry  Bogard, Andy Bogard, and Joe Higashi.

This is the second piece of artwork showcased for the game. The first was revealed alongside the fact that the title had been greenlit at EVO 2022 in August last year and it featured Rock Howard.

You can check out the full artwork below.

If you’re unfamiliar with Fatal Fury, known in Japan as Garou Densetsu, it’s one of SNK’s most established fighting game series from the era of the beloved Neo Geo. It debuted in 1991, but it has been dormant since 1999 when SNK released Garou: Mark of the Wolves.

Some of the series' characters have continued to be active inThe King of Fighters series, but the Fatal Fury franchise holds a special place in the hearts of many SNK fans. One of its most relevant elements is a very complex and interesting story, which nowadays is quite rare in fighting games.

At the moment, the new Fatal Fury doesn't yet have announced platforms or even release windows. We'll have to wait longer to know more about it.

If you're interested in The King of Fighters, today we also got the announcement of Goenitz for The King of Fighters XV, on top of the return of SNK's latest 2D KOF game, with The King of Fighters XIII Global Match for PS4 and Nintendo Switch, enhanced with rollback netcode.
