Overwatch's latest Control map Busan is now available to play according to a trailer uploaded to the game's official YouTube account. In addition, a patch has been deployed which brings with it a few changes to the game's heroes.
Busan is the latest map available in Overwatch which was revealed just a few short weeks ago alongside D.Va's animated short. It's a Control Map, meaning players fight in mini-matches in a best of three format where they try to gain 100% control of a central point. The map's three sections are a temple, a section of downtown Busan, and the MEKA base where D.Va and her fellow pilots live and maintain their equipment. Take a look at the trailer to see some of the cool stuff in the map:
The patch that brings Busan also brings with it a few changes to the game. A filter for the Hero Gallery should make it easy for players to see which cosmetics they haven't yet unlocked. A couple of tweaks have been deployed to Rialto, namely an increase in the payload travel speed and a reduction in the time that it takes to get moving at each checkpoint. A deathmatch version of Blizzard World has also been added to the map rotation for FFA Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch.
Aside from these map changes, a few heroes have had tweaks deployed. The precision of Ana and Widowmaker's Relative Aim Sensitivity While Zoomed slider has been increased. Brigitte's Shield Bash will now knock down other charging targets like Doomfist or Reinhardt and she'll fall flat on her cute Swedish butt right along with them. Reinhardt's troubled Earthshatter Ultimate has had a complete overhaul that will hopefully fix many of the problems that have plagued the German main tank. Finally, Widowmaker's Grappling Hook should now retain momentum when used on structures without a ledge (like walls).
That's it for the Overwatch patch this week! If you'd like to get your hands on the game, it's the early unlock for this month's Humble Bundle!
