We are hungry, therefore we are, but not for much longer! Soon we will able to be able to take a bite out of Garfield Lasagna Party, where you get to play as one of the most well-known kitty cats from childhood.
Developed by Balio Studio, Garfield Lasagna Party sports 32 total mini-games for players to uncover as they traverse iconic and nostalgic environments. This includes the Pizzeria, Liz's Vet Clinic, and even Garfield's humble abode itself. You will have the opportunity to meet those oh-so-familiar faces for yourself, such as Odie and Arlene et Nermal, who have taken on one of the most challenging feats of all time; Attending Garfield's Lasagna party of course!
There are three game modes included thus far, Standard mode, Challenge mode, and Competition mode. In Challenge mode, four players will be able to band together to navigate the squares on the game board. When playing with friends, you will not have to pass each and every square as you would solo, and it is a great way to get your feel for the game as well as just sit back and relax for a quick game.
Next up is the Competition mode, where players compete in a championship game that has a selected number of mini-games to play. The mini-games are chosen completely at random, like in other mini-game-centered games such as Mario Party, and the faster you complete these games, the higher your success rate. With the number of mini-games available, and the ability to play with up to four friends, there seems to be an endless amount of fun to be had here.
Some of the mini-games included are Catch it, where players will need to catch the toast while being aware of the burnt piece. There is also Last Lasagna, where players must hold onto the Lasanga as long as possible to stack up some points, and use tomatoes (which we assume you throw) to slow down your competitors.
Garfield Lasagna Party is set to release in Europe on November 10, 2022, on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One consoles, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. It will then release on November 15, 2022, in North America on console only at this time.
