Sometimes I come across some weird games while writing for TechRaptor, and I have to say, Needy Streamer Overload is probably among the weirdest I've ever seen. Anyways, despite its weirdness, the game has sold 100k copies in a week of release, and has received a 95% 'Overwhelmingly Positive' rating on Steam. So, there's definitely an audience for Needy Streamer Overload, and they're apparently all loving this game.

What is Needy Streamer Overload?

It's somewhat similar to Watch Me Stream My Breakdown (which we thought was alright) where you're trying to help someone become a popular streamer. What's different is this isn't a strategy game. Instead, it's a "multi-ending ADV" that depicts the daily life of "“OMGkawaiiAngel-chan”, a young girl with a rather extreme need for approval attempting to become the #1 “Internet Angel” (streamer)." Players will help OMGkawaiiAngel-chan get more followers as she spends her days streaming. She's kind of messed up, so she'll use some stress relievers and go through a bunch of ups and downs as the player goes toward the two-dozen or so different endings.

In a somewhat surprising move, the game is apparently "perfectly wholesome" and contains no references to illegal substances or other things you'd might think to find in a game like this. The game is on sale right now for 10% off on Steam, so if this is something that it's up your alley you should check it out here.

To celebrate the 100k sales in a week, there are going to be line stickers and emojis that can be used in the game's Discord. The release date and price for the stickers will be later revealed on the WSS playground's Twitter page, which you can find here.
