The fantasy Battle Royale game Naraka: Bladepoint has made fairly rapid progress since it launched last summer. Over the last few months, it debuted a player reputation system, launched a 1v1 game mode, and hosted an end-of-year livestream event. Now, the fine folks at 24 Entertainment have their eyes on the future -- and it certainly looks promising.

What's Coming to Naraka: Bladepoint in 2022?

24 Entertainment likes to release periodic F.A.Q.s about Naraka: Bladepoint and a new one has arrived for the new year. This time, it addresses several topics including game modes, new content, and the Naraka: Bladepoint console version.

Let's start with game modes: 24 Entertainment has been keeping a close on player feedback from its limited-time events such as Shadow Surge and Eternal Blazes. It hasn't made any firm decisions just yet, but it is taking the idea of permanently adding some of these game modes under "heavy consideration."

Naturally, gamers can look forward to a bunch of new content coming in 2022 as well. This new content will include:

  • several new heroes
  • new modes
  • a new map
  • new weapons

More details on these specific points will be released at a later date. Additionally, 24 Entertainment has released the schedule for the game's World Championship on its official website.

What's Happening with the Naraka: Bladepoint Console Version?

One might be wondering about the Naraka: Bladepoint console version. While 24 Entertainment says it's made "huge progress" on the project, it doesn't have any firm details just yet and it's not going to arrive in January 2022.

"Unfortunately, we are not yet prepared to make a debut on consoles," read a portion of this month's F.A.Q. "However, we’ve made huge progress on console versions, but still need more time on development. When we have a concrete date set we will be sure to announce it on all of our platforms!"

You'll have to wait to enjoy some of this new content, but there's still plenty of fun to be had in the game right now. You can get started with the fantasy Battle Royale action by buying Naraka: Bladepoint for PC via Steam starting at $19.99 or your regional equivalent.
