The My Time at Sandrock multiplayer roadmap has just been announced, and for those that have been wondering where multiplayer at can now rest easy. Apparently, a lot of players thought that the title was launching with multiplayer, so this should clear the air. At the moment, it's too early to unleash its multiplayer on the world due to missing foundational features such as marriage and children, NPC-specific stories and dialogue, and more. Still, now that the game is officially out on Early Access, it's time to talk about the My Time at Sandrock multiplayer roadmap. Let's get to it, shall we?
When can we expect My Time at Sandrock multiplayer?
The earliest that players will be able to play multiplayer is at the end of August or early September 2022, as part of a global time-limited multiplayer playtest for all Early Access players. Once that's done and data is accumulated and processed, there will be another playtest in October 2022. If both playtests are positive affairs and don't reveal anything catastrophic, then the multiplayer mode should be officially released to Early Access by the end of the year.

Sidenote, but does anyone else think the title My Time at Sandrock is pretty funny? It sounds like it's going to be a tough-as-nails jail VR experience or something similar. Instead, it's a quirky life sim. Oh well, I'm sure lots of players are (and have been) happily putting their time in for My Time at Sandrock.
