Pathea Games has fully revealed My Time at Evershine, the third game in the My Time series, and it comes complete with a new art style, city management elements, and more.

My Time at Evershine was originally teased a couple of weeks ago, but today, Pathea has revealed more information about what the game will actually be, and the studio says it's designed to "appeal to both life simulation fans and RPG enthusiasts".

The studio is promising a 40-hour storyline "brimming with exploration", as well as a "diverse cast of romanceable characters" and "revamped gameplay mechanics", so if you were expecting a low-effort sequel to My Time at Sandrock, it looks like you'll be pleasantly surprised.

My Time at Evershine will feature "deep role-playing elements", according to Pathea.

Unlike in Sandrock and its predecessor My Time at Portia, in which you played as a builder "tasked with completing essential jobs" to keep your town running, Evershine will cast you as the town's governor.

The game will take place in a new settlement "on the fringes of the Free Cities", and you'll be facing down the Duvos Empire, recruiting settlers and creating a stronghold from which to resist a "more defined antagonist" than in previous series installments.

Evershine's campaign will fully support co-op for up to four players, although you can, of course, still enjoy it solo if you want to. It'll also feature "town management" gameplay for the first time in the series.

If you want to get a look at My Time at Evershine in motion, you can check out the game's announcement trailer right here.

As well as all the above, Pathea says My Time at Evershine will also support modding for both single-player and multiplayer, so if you're the kind of person who likes to switch up their gameplay experience, you're in luck.

My Time at Evershine is still "very early in development", according to Pathea, but the studio is launching a Kickstarter campaign for the game on September 24th, which is also when we'll get to learn more about it.

When it does eventually launch, you'll be able to play My Time at Evershine on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and "future Nintendo platforms yet to be announced", Pathea says. Stay tuned for more.
