Today, Asmodee Digital announced that their latest title, Munchkin: Quacked Quest, will be released on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on November 19, 2019.
Up to four players can play alone (#foreveralone) or in local co-op in this dungeon crawler/party title. Players will gather gold, throw friends and foes into sacrificial pits, collect ducks, and kill their enemies. Players will compete with their friends to get the best gear and items while surviving absurdly humorous situations.
Four races and four classes will be available to play for a total of 16 combinations. This includes the Orc Priest and the Dwarf Wizard. More then 20 weapons can be used to annihilate 15 different enemies or friends. Dungeons will be randomly generated for that infinite replay valueTM and players will be able to customize the game itself, whether it is the game mode or the game duration. Each dungeon will have its own unique objectives, giving everyone a chance to make everyone else's lives as inconvenient as possible.
If you are interested in Munchkin: Quacked Quest, be sure to check out the title on Steam or at other stores as it becomes available. It will be available on November 19, 2019, on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. It will be available on Game Pass on Xbox One and PC from release.
Quick Take:
I've always liked playing Munchkin. It isn't the most difficult game to learn or play, nor is it the deepest, but it is a lot of fun, especially if you have friends who won't hesitate to stab you in the back for that extra bit of gold or loot. I am very interested in this release and I will most likely be getting it if it turns out to be any good. We'll see.
