Have you heard of Do You See Sparky? It's an upcoming asymmetrical multiplayer horror game with shades of Phasmophobia and Five Nights at Freddy's, and it's heading to PC via Steam sometime in the near future. If you want to whet your appetite for the game, you can check out the prologue demo Sparky Marky, which is releasing on Steam today.

Unlike Do You See SparkySparky Marky is a single-player experience. You'll explore a spooky abandoned children's camp (is there any other kind of abandoned children's camp?), piecing together what happened to the children and trying to avoid the haunting wrath of the titular Sparky Marky as you do so. You can take a look at the launch trailer for Sparky Marky right here.

While Do You See Sparky is a multiplayer gameSparky Marky has shades of recent horror phenomena like Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach and Poppy Playtime. As you play, you'll collect gadgets to help you move through your environment, but you'll always have to keep an eye out for the unhinged mascot himself, who is hunting you relentlessly.

There's also an alternate-reality game element to Sparky Marky. As you uncover clues, you'll need to head over to the game's official Discord server, where you'll find a dedicated channel with which you can interact in order to learn more about Do You See Sparky's backstory. Developer Clapperheads says you might even get "a clue to your next thrilling adventure". Could there be another single-player Sparky demo on the way?

Sparky Marky arrives on Steam sometime today. The prologue demo is already available via Itch.io if you're, uh, "itching" to check it out right this minute. It should only take you around 30 minutes of play, so you'll be able to get a flavor for it pretty quickly. Do You See Sparky is set to arrive on Steam sometime in the future, and you can wishlist it right here if you want to keep up with it.
