Xbox has announced that medieval open-world RPG Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord is heading to Xbox Game Pass next week. It'll make up part of the rest of February's lineup, which also includes alternate-history shooter Atomic Heart, sports stalwart Madden NFL 23, and more treats.
This news comes via Xbox's regular roundup of games coming to the Game Pass service. There are six games due on Game Pass between now and February 21st, and six games are also set to depart the service next week, so make sure you've spent all the time with them you need to. Here's everything we know is headed to Xbox Game Pass this month.
Madden NFL 23 (console, PC - February 9th)
The latest game in the long-running Madden NFL series comes to Xbox consoles and PC tomorrow. If you're a Game Pass Ultimate member, you'll get a Supercharge Pack just for logging into the Ultimate Team mode, which ain't bad. Be sure to play a few games as the Philadelphia Eagles!
SD Gundam Battle Alliance (cloud, console, PC - February 9th)
Also arriving tomorrow is action RPG SD Gundam Battle Alliance, which lets you live through iconic moments in Gundam history as a force threatens to corrupt them. You can play this one solo or alongside your friends, so round up your Gundam-loving buddies and give it a shot.
Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord (cloud, console, PC - February 14th)
What better way to celebrate Valentine's Day than to build your very own kingdom and sally forth to ravage a medieval Dark Ages landscape? Bannerlord is a prequel to Warband, which means that this is an ideal place to start with the series even if you've never played a Mount & Blade game.
Cities: Skylines - Remastered (cloud, Xbox Series X|S - February 15th)
It's official: Cities: Skylines is getting an Xbox Series X|S remaster, which will be available on Game Pass on February 15th. If you've never played this one before and you've got a hankering for solid management sims, then you're in for a treat.
Shadow Warrior 3: Definitive Edition (cloud, console, PC - February 16th)
This boomer shooter is the third in the Shadow Warrior reboot series, and it once again follows Lo Wang on an odyssey to slay monsters and stop the world from ending. This time, though, he'll have to use his fancy gunplay and traversal abilities to battle Japanese yokai.
Atomic Heart (cloud, console, PC - February 21st)
Last but not least, Mundfish's open-world alternate-history Soviet shooter Atomic Heart lands on Game Pass on February 21st. Armed with a range of creative guns and some honest-to-goodness lightning powers, you must put a stop to a sudden, unexpected robot uprising (and kill some mutants too). This one is promising some seriously smooth gameplay on Series X|S.
Unfortunately, games can't always stay on Game Pass forever, and so even as these games arrive, some must depart. Here's a full list of the games leaving Game Pass on February 15th. You're not losing any heavy hitters, but there are a few gems here you might want to check out.
- Besiege
- CrossfireX
- Infernax
- Recompile
- Skul: The Hero Slayer
