Rambo, Mileena, and Rain in Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate

A komplete edition of one-on-one fighter Mortal Kombat 11 is coming. Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate will kollect the base game and all previously-released downloadable kontent, as well as adding the new Kombat Pack 2 which features new characters Mileena, Rain, and Rambo.

What's koming in Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate?

As you might expect, Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate will offer "the definitive Mortal Kombat 11 experience", according to Warner Bros. You'll get everything that's already been released for Mortal Kombat 11, including the base game, Kombat Pack 1, and the Aftermath story DLC. Kombat Pack 2 will also come with Ultimate and will add Tarkatan-Edenian fighter Mileena, demigod Rain, and action movie hero John Rambo. You can check out the trailer for Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate right here:

Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate will, of course, be launching on every platform under the sun. Current-gen consoles are all covered, as are next-gen platforms, PC, and Google's Stadia streaming service. If you buy the game on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, you'll get a free next-gen upgrade to the PS5 or Xbox Series X/S versions, the latter through Microsoft's Smart Delivery feature.

Will Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate support crossplay?

Of course. Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate will have crossplay (or "krossplay") between PlayStation and Xbox users. Unfortunately, TechRaptor has konfirmed that krossplay won't be possible on PC, Nintendo Switch, or Stadia. That means you won't be able to play Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate with users on other platforms if you're playing on any of those platforms. Krossplay will, according to Warner Bros, be possible "in select modes", and it'll be available on day one of the game's release. That includes crossplay between current- and next-gen platforms, so you'll be able to play the game with a PS5 or Xbox Series owner if you're on PS4 or Xbox One.

Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate launches for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, and Google Stadia (whew) on November 17th. Warner Bros says the Switch version in North America is digital-only, as are the PC and Stadia versions. The PS5 and PS4 versions will be available digitally at first, with physical PS4 versions following in January.
