Mordau Patch 19 is now live for the medieval hack and slasher. This new Mordhau update adds ranked 3v3 teamfights, as well as new maps, new cosmetics, and plenty more.

What's new in Mordhau Patch 19?

First and foremost, Mordhau Patch 19 adds ranked 3v3 teamfight battles available. You can either queue up for these fights alongside two friends or go it solo. The devs say that either way, you'll be facing off against "similarly skilled opponents", so make sure that your axe-throwing and shield-blocking is up to snuff. You can take a look at the trailer for Mordhau's new Ranked Teamfight game mode, as well as some of the new patch's other features, below:

As well as the new mode, the Mordhau update is also bringing two new maps: Arena and Truce. These will be smaller-scale maps designed to be played in Teamfight and Duel, but they'll also be available in Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, and Skirmish. Developer Triternion says that many players have been asking for a small-scale, fast-paced multiplayer game mode, so there's a new Brawl Mixed Playlist available. This new playlist features Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch, as well as Skirmish, and takes place across smaller maps. It's worth noting that the new playlist is replacing Mordhau's Battle Royale mode, which Triternion says was "sparsely populated". If you like Battle Royale, you'll still be able to host your own variant of it on community servers.

You'll also find over 60 new cosmetics to enjoy in the latest Mordhau update. A new weapon, the curved Falx blade, is making an appearance, alongside six new perks that will help you to mix up your playstyle. Of course, this being a patch, there are also plenty of bugfixes and quality-of-life improvements to make the Mordhau play experience a little smoother. If you'd like to, you can read the full exhaustive patch notes right here on Steam.
