Not all monsters are scary, and Monster Safari will let you see that for yourself when it launches on Steam this Spring. This upcoming game from SmallOne Studio and X.D. Network Inc. has players making their very own zoo, but this family attraction is going to be a little more unusual—it will be packed full of adorable monsters!
Have a look at the Monster Safari Announcement Trailer to get a feel for the game:
A press release from the developers has all the details on this upcoming game. Much like other games in the genre, Monster Safari will have players starting with a prebuilt park to start their work. (Thankfully, you'll also be able to work with a completely empty park if you want to build it up from scratch.) You'll acquire monsters, hire employees, and attract guests in your quest to build the most interesting zoo featuring otherworldly oddities. Monsters are acquired through an exploration mechanic. You'll travel the world in an effort to find the strangest new creatures to add to your park.
Monster Safari will be mixing up the formula a bit, though! There's more to contend with than simply caring for your monsters, managing your employees, and keeping your profits in the black. As you get more popular, goblins will pop up and attempt to steal from your park. Poachers are also a threat to be concerned about; who knows what dastardly deeds someone could get up to with their own personal fire-breathing creature?
If Monster Safari sounds like your kind of jam, you won't have to wait very long to play it. The game will launch on Steam sometime in the Spring of 2019. In the meantime, you can add the game to your wishlist on Steam.
