Players of Monster Hunter World will be able to change their character's appearance via paid "Hunter Grooming Tickets" in spring, Capcom has announced.

This feature was revealed during Capcom's March 14th Spring Live Stream event for Monster Hunter World. Capcom has previously made noises about potentially adding a character creation do-over to Monster Hunter World if player demand was high enough.

Currently, it's possible for players to change their Monster Hunter World character's clothing, facial hair, makeup and paint motif without the use of a paid ticket. However, starting from spring, it will be possible to change everything which cannot currently be changed via the player's Item Box or home menu. This means players can potentially make alterations to their current character whether you want a small or large change, the only feature you won't be able to change is your name.

Capcom will be rolling out this feature via a free demo starting tomorrow (March 16th). Using the free demo ticket, players will be able to change their character's appearance once. Any subsequent alterations will require players to pay a fee to purchase an additional Hunter Grooming Ticket. Additionally, the ticket will only apply to one character; once the ticket is used, it cannot be used again on any other characters. Instead, you require another Hunter Grooming Ticket.

There's no word yet on how much the tickets will cost, or whether discounts will be offered to players wishing to purchase multiple tickets.

Monster Hunter World was originally released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in January 2018. A PC version is on the way and is expected to arrive in the second half of 2018. You can check out what TechRaptor's own Max Moeller thought of Monster Hunter World right here.
