Five post-launch updates are coming in the Monster Hunter Stories 2 roadmap, and the updates will run through October 2021 and include new monsters and quests. Check out the details below:
What's in the Monster Hunter Stories 2 roadmap?
The 1st update arriving on July 15 will give players a ridable Monstie in the form of the Palamute from Monster Hunter Rise. The 2nd update arrives on August 5, and will introduce the gilded Elder Dragon Kulve Taroth as a new co-op quest for players to tackle together. While the Kulve Taroth won't be a ridable Monstie, the materials earned from the quest will help players craft new equipment.
The 3rd update will arrive in early September and will bring "Soulseer Mizutsune, Elderfrost Gammoth, and Oroshi Kirin as new Monsties". The 4th update will bring two new Monsties, with Dreadking Rathalos and Molten Tigrex joining the game. During the update, Kulve Taroth will return as a new high-difficulty co-op quest that will offer players to get better rewards.
For the 5th update, Silver Rathalos and Gold Rathian are added to the game, along with a "special mysterious monster" that will be part of a difficult co-op quest that will... offer new materials for crafting equipment. What a shock!
As for other news, there's a free Trial Version on the Nintendo Switch that's now available, with one coming to PC on July 9, 2021, alongside the full game. Both Trial Versions can have their save data transferred over to the full game, which is pretty cool. If you do this for the Nintendo Switch, you'll receive a Kinship Talisman when linked with Monster Hunter Rise.
Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin launches on the Nintendo Switch and PC on July 9, 2021. For more information on the latest Monster Hunter, stay tuned to TechRaptor for more details.
