Capcom has revealed when we can expect some more info about Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak Title Update 4. The monster-slaying RPG is getting a presentation next Wednesday showcasing the upcoming update, where we'll learn all about a returning Elder Dragon, a revised roadmap for the game, and more.
To accompany the announcement of Title Update 4's showcase, Capcom also released a short teaser trailer in which we learn that everyone's favorite scientist Bahari will be hosting the presentation. We'll learn about additional monsters making their way to the game, and we're also expecting to hear more about promised features like Hunter Loadouts and more. As well as the aforementioned info, Capcom is also promising "some free DLC if you enter a campaign". This refers to some Palamute layered armor that Capcom is giving away; all you need is a Capcom ID to enter, and since this isn't a competition, all entrants to the campaign will be granted the armor set. You'll have until February 5th to enter, and details on how to do so will be revealed during next week's presentation.
It's a good time to be a Monster Hunter fan right now. Not only is Sunbreak still being regularly updated with new content, but the base Monster Hunter Rise game also made its way to PlayStation and Xbox consoles last week. Prior to that release, Capcom celebrated Sunbreak crossing the 5 million sales barrier, with Monster Hunter World: Iceborne clocking up 10 million sales since its release.
You can pick up Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak right now on PC via Steam, as well as on Nintendo Switch. Monster Hunter Rise is available on both platforms as well, and it's also on PlayStation and Xbox, although you'll have to wait a little while until you can play Sunbreak on those consoles. The Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak Title Update 4 event airs next Wednesday at 6pm EST.
