Microsoft, Mojang, and Illumination have teamed up to reveal the Minions x Minecraft DLC for PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and mobile devices.

Minecraft is a game that's all about building cool stuff with blocks and fighting scary monsters. It's one of the most popular games in the world and the developers love to do franchise crossovers, so it should come as no surprise that the super-popular Minions from Despicable Me are making their debut in a new DLC. Check out the trailer:

That sound you hear in the distance is the collective sobbing of millions of parents who have been trying to escape the Minions for years.

Anyways, the Minions x Minecraft DLC brings all six of the Vicious 6 to the game as bosses. These super-powerful villains are some of the most deadly bad guys in the world, and the film's protagonist Gru is quite keen on joining them.

Naturally, this DLC is also bringing the titular Minions to the game. These cursed yellow tic tacs will follow you around in the game, changing their disguises to suit the situation where appropriate. Naturally, players will also get to experience a new map, too — there's plenty of content here for parents to suffer through kids to enjoy.
