Mojang has revealed the Minecraft Dungeons Echoing Void DLC release date for PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch, and that's not all — Minecraft Dungeons: Ultimate Edition is also on the way.
In Minecraft Dungeons, players jump into the world of Minecraft in a new way — this game is an action RPG where you and your friends battle the bad guys of this iconic blocky world while earning powerful new loot for future battles.
The game has been out for some time now was originally planned to get two pieces of post-launch DLC, but the developers went ahead and announced a total of four new pieces of content for the game late last year. Now, the fourth and final piece has been revealed along with a brand-new Ultimate Edition!
What's Coming in the Minecraft Dungeons Echoing Void DLC?
The Minecraft Dungeons Echoing Void DLC quite literally takes players to The End. It's not just the end of the game's epic story, mind — this DLC will also take you to the home of the Endermen.
As with previous content releases, this DLC is also launching a free content update that includes new enchantments: Ambush, Shadow Blast, and Void Strike. Also arriving in this DLC is the "Gauntlet of Gales," a "unique maze-like mission" that will challenge players with trials and puzzles according to today's announcement.
Also Announced – Minecraft Dungeons: Ultimate Edition
As this is the final piece of DLC, Mojang and Microsoft have also made the decision to launch Minecraft Dungeons: Ultimate Edition. This package will include the base game and all six pieces of post-launch DLC in one convenient package.
Is More Minecraft Dungeons DLC Coming?
There's one question that has not yet been answered — will there be more Minecraft Dungeons DLC beyond Echoing Void?
Unfortunately, it looks like this may very well be the end for Minecraft Dungeons. Mojang has not announced any more DLC beyond the sixth piece of content. That said, the previous addition of four more pieces of DLC was a surprise, so there's always the possibility that we can get surprised again.
When is the Minecraft Dungeons Echoing Void DLC Release Date?
The Minecraft Dungeons Echoing Void DLC release date is July 28, 2021. As always, the DLC will be coming to PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch. No price has been announced, but every piece of DLC thus far has been priced at $5.99 and it's likely that this new DLC will be at the same price point.
When is the Minecraft Dungeons: Ultimate Edition Release Date?
The Minecraft Dungeons: Ultimate Edition release date is also July 28, 2021, the same day as the Minecraft Dungeons: Echoing Void DLC release date. No price has been announced.
