Third-party developers have shared news and releases about upcoming Microsoft Flight Simulator add-ons, focusing on airports.
We start with a small but really cute airport in Switzerland, Sitterdorf Airport (LSZV) in the Thurgau canton. It was released today by Simultech and it even comes with a really nice mini-amusement part with an RC car track and sightseeing train.
It can be purchased on Orbx Direct for $11.12. Below you can check out what it looks like and read a list of features.
- Custom animations and sounds for the model car track
- Animated 3d characters
- PBR materials
- Custom terrain
- Heliport annex
The second release for the day comes from AC Scenery, and it's Pardubice Airport (LKPD) in the Czech Republic. It serves both seasonal low-cost airline flights and the local military.
It's available on Simmarket for approximately $11 including a 15% launch discount. It'll go back up to $13 in two weeks.
- Photoreal scenery of Pardubice Airport
- FPS friendly
- Realistic Terminal, Tower, ARFF and more
- Optimized Dynamic Lightning
Last, but not least, we get a development update on Hamilton Island Airport (YBHM) in Australia, which has been in development for a long time at AUscene.
Good progress has been made in texturing the terminal, and just "a bit more" of the interior is missing, so release shouldn't be too far off.
Microsoft Flight Simulator is currently available for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox Cloud Gaming, including Game Pass.
