Today third-party developers announced two add-on airports for Microsoft Flight Simulator, while an aircraft is coming soon.

We start with Big Radials with their Noorduyn Norseman bush plane. According to the developer on its Discord server, the aircraft is "almost ready to launch" and its product page on Orbx Direct is already up, including details and a few new screenshots.

Update: the Noorduyn Norseman is now available for purchase at the developer's own site and Orbx Direct, priced at $20.

Here's what you can expect.

  • Highly-detailed and accurate representation of the Noorduyn Norseman
  • Realistic flight dynamics and performance
  • Suitable for use in remote, challenging environments
  • Versatile and reliable aircraft for virtual pilots
  • Three Variants: Standard, Bush Wheel, and Floats
  • Six Liveries

Next, Verticalsim announced its next project, and it's Ontario International Airport (KONT)  in California, United States. This airport serves a sizable variety of domestic and international flights on top of plenty of cargo operations.

We also get an announcement from Vuelosimple, which will release Teniente General Benjamín Matienzo International Airport (SANT) serving San Miguel de Tucumán in Argentina. While it isn't a massive hub, it serves both passenger and cargo flights.

One last bonus is a small single screenshot of the Boeing 757 by Blue Bird Simulations showing the view from the cabin. It's worth mentioning that the textures of the wing are placeholders.
