Third-party developers shared new announcements about upcoming airport and aircraft add-ons for Microsoft Flight Simulator, on top of a couple of new releases.

We start with iniBuilds, which announced John F. Kennedy International Airport (KJFK) in New York, United States. This relevant American hub will come with the following features:

  • Hand crafted ground poly, textures with crisp, bespoke texture sets (Runways, aprons, paths, roads)

  • Bespoke taxi signage as it is in the real world
  • Up to date airport layout reflecting the current, real-world location
  • Custom built jetways with realistic variations using PBR texturing and animations, including gate number toppers
  • Fully animated JFK AirTrain between each terminals
  • Accurate representation of the famous Canarsie approach

  • Use of the latest MSFS SDK features to allow for the best optimisation and performance possible
  • Custom static aircraft
  • Full iniManager compatibility to configure your scenery for the best possible performance for your system

The airport is currently being tested, and it should come in about a week or so. Below you can take a look at what it looks like in a trailer.

Another announcement comes from FeelThere, which is going to release St. Louis Lambert International Airport (KSTL), also in the US. For this one, we have only a single image and the mention that it's coming soon.

Coming soon is also an Airbus A320ceo from LatinVFR. It's worth mentioning that this is not a study-level aircraft, but a modification with added features of the systems of the default Airbus A320neo on top of a new model and flight deck. It'll also include an Electronic Flight Bag tablet. While it's not as advanced as other add-ons, it has the advantage that it'll be made available on Xbox as well as PC.

Moving on to releases, MK Studios released a completely new version of its Dublin Airport (EIDW) in Ireland.

It's currently available on Orbx Central for $16.71, but those who have purchased version 1, which was released a couple of years ago, will receive a 30% discount.

  • igh-fidelity rendition of Dublin Airport built from the ground up.
  • Optimised yet crisp texturing throughout all buildings and structures.
  • Detailed yet frame-friendly Pier 1, 4 and Tower Interiors.
  • Recently captured hand-corrected and colour-rectified orthoimagery.
  • Detailed, true-to-life aprons, surfaces, lines and paint markings including the brand-new runway 28R/10L.
  • Realistic fully-operational A-VDGS implementation like in the real world.
  • Landside buildings and significant POIs near the airport.
  • Compatible with most aircraft AI plug-ins.
  • Optimized to MSFS performance guidelines for PC and Xbox.

Last, but not least, Aerosoft released Skopje International Airport (LWSK), the main airport serving the capital of North Macedonia. It's currently available on the developer's own store for $18.29.
