Third-party developers had news to share about Microsoft Flight Simulator scenery add-ons including two airport releases.
We start with MSK Productions, which shared more progress on the massive Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (VABB) in India including a look at the terminal and static aircraft.
Next is Impulse Simulations, which is continuing work on Alice Springs Airport (YBAS) in Australia. An interesting touch is a "The Flying Plumber" livery for the Cirrus SR22 which will come with the airport belonging to SDA Plumbing. If the name isn't enough of a clue, the company offers plumbing services to many remote businesses in the Northern Territory of the country, which has many sparsely populated areas. I don't know about you, but I love this kind of detail in a flight simulation product.
Another interesting tidbit comes from SimSkunkWorks, which is considering the development of the beautiful World War II fighter Macchi C.205 Veltro to celebrate the centennial of the Italian Air Force. The developer is asking for feedback from its customers before finalizing the decision, as it would mean the Lockheed T-33A Shooting Star would be delayed until 2024.
I may be biased, but I'd say "Go for it, please," as the Veltro is one of the most beautiful aircraft ever created.
Moving on to releases, Liège Airport (EBLG) in Belgium has been launched by MM Simulations on Orbx Direct, Contrail and Simmarket priced at $24.55, providing another major destination in Europe for cargo flights.
You can expect the following.

- Custom night lighting
- Custom parking positions matching real life
- Custom surroundings
- Custom people and animated objects
- PBR Materials
Lastly, RWY26 Simulations released North Eleuthera Airport (MYEH) in the Bahamas. It certainly falls in the category of "small but scenic" and it gets a surprising amount of airline traffic for its size. You can grab it on Simmarket for $13.48.
Microsoft Flight Simulator is currently available for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox Cloud Gaming, including Game Pass.
