Third-party developers shared news about an upcoming Microsoft Flight Simulator airport and the popular ground services add-on GSX Pro.
We start with the latter, as FSDreamTeam released an update to add remote deicing to the suite of ground services available. Since we're in the winter, this is certainly very appropriate.
You can check out what it looks like and how it works in the video below.
Yet, there is more news about GSX today. Acclaimed freeware developer FlyByWire announced that GSX integration is being implemented in its popular A32NX Airbus A320neo mod, starting with the Experimental version.
While it hasn't been implemented in the development and stable versions yet, this is certainly promising.
Moving on to airports, we get some new screenshots from Impulse Simulations, showcasing the upcoming Alice Springs Airport (YBAS) in Australia. A few buildings still need to be added, and the developer has started working on ground clutter.
Alice Springs is a regional airport in the Northern Territory of the country and the 18th busiest in terms of passenger traffic. It hosts scheduled flights from multiple local airlines and perhaps the most interesting element is that it's a major storage facility for mothballed aircraft serving the Asia Pacific region.
You can check out the screenshots below.
Microsoft Flight Simulator is currently available for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox Cloud Gaming, including Game Pass.
