Third-party developers have provided updates about upcoming Microsoft Flight Simulator add-ons, including an aircraft and a relevant AI traffic package.

We start with the latter, as Just Flight announced that it's FS Traffic AI traffic utility is now in the final testing and tweaking phase and release is "imminent." We don't yet have a firm release date, but today we get an update on the add-on's performance.

The developer claims that its models have "negligible impact on your performance compared to the default MSFS traffic options" and is "confident that FS Traffic is one of the best performing traffic programs ever seen in a flight simulation."

In order to demonstrate that, Just Flight posted screenshots taken at 11:00 on a Friday at Heathrow Airport (the version included in the Premium Deluxe edition of Microsoft Flight Simulator) with "High End" rendering settings on a PC with the following specs: Ryzen 7 3800XT, RTX 2080 Super, 32GB RAM, NVMe M2 SSDs.

The screenshots showcase that FS Traffic loses only a handful of frames per second compared to not having any traffic at all, while it appears to have a significant framerate advantage over the default live traffic and even more over offline traffic.

We also get a detailed product page with a final list of the features that we can expect, including models and "over 700" liveries.

Moving on to aircraft, AzurPoly released new screenshots of the C-160 Transall vintage military transport, showing close-ups of the flight deck. The developer claims that the aircraft offers "graphic quality that few MFS aircraft offer today."
