Third-party developers had quite a few interesting reveals today about upcoming add-ons for Microsoft Flight Simulator, including aircraft and scenery.

That being said, we start with Microsoft, which shared a PSA about a mysterious official add-on available for the simulator on Xbox. To put it down simply, for now, it does nothing.

"In preparation for WASM on Xbox support, a new add-on for Microsoft Flight Simulator is now published to the Xbox Store

This add-on is in a pre-release state and not functional—downloading and installing the add-on will have no effect on Microsoft Flight Simulator at this time. Once WASM on Xbox support is available, the add-on will update and automatically install when Microsoft Flight Simulator is launched.

We’ll have more details to share about WASM on Xbox support as we get closer to the release of Sim Update 12."

Moving on to Just Flight, we get to see an impressive video about the bleed air supply and air conditioning systems on the upcoming Fokker F28 Fellowship. While a release date has not been shared just yet, more of this kind of video have been promised.

Next, VueloSimple revealed its work on a charming African airport, Kilimanjaro International Airport (HTKJ) in Tanzania. It's the largest airport in the north of the country, serving both regional and long-haul flights carrying tourists who come to visit the majestic mountain and the surrounding area.

Last, but not least, Fly2High revealed its plans for 2023. The developer is planning to release Jeju International Airport (RKPC), the second-largest airport in South Korea, and two airports in the United States, Long Island MacArthur Airport (KISP) and Jackson–Medgar Wiley Evers International Airport (KJAN).

Work on Jeju still has to be started, while the two American airports are respectively 30% and 25% complete.

Microsoft Flight Simulator is currently available for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox Cloud Gaming, including Game Pass.
