Third-party developers revealed new screenshots of two large airports coming for Microsoft Flight Simulator, coincidentally both in Northern Europe.
We start (aptly) with Simnord, which released new images of its Copenhagen Airport, Kastrup (EKCH) in Denmark, providing a look at Terminal 2.
This is certainly an interesting project, if anything because Simnord is going against the existing version of the airport made by FlyTampa, which is already exceptionally good. That being said, considering that the studio is from Denmark and they're entirely dedicated to making local airports, it's not surprising that they're taking a stab at the capital's hub. Besides, it's always good to see established popular developers being challenged.
You can see what it looks like below.
Next, we stay in the Nordics with a single screenshot of Stockholm Arlanda (ESSA) by Orbx. The level of detail of this one looks fantastic, which isn't surprising considering that it comes from the same developer who made the awesome Bromma.
We hear that the plan is to release it "most likely" in the spring and it'll have different optional features on Orbx Central.
This also has to face difficult competition, since Stockholm was included in a World Update for free. That being said, the quality of what we have seen so far is very promising.
Microsoft Flight Simulator is currently available for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox Cloud Gaming, including Game Pass.
