Third-party developers released new screenshots of an upcoming aircraft add-on for Microsoft Flight Simulator while two airports have been announced.
We start with Just Flight and Black Square, which released an extensive video of the Analog Baron from the "Steam Gauge Overhaul" series.
In case you missed the initial news, this kind of add-on is designed to completely overhaul the interior and systems of the default aircraft while still retaining the excellent default external model by Asobo.
You can check out just how much it adds to the aircraft below.
Next, we move on to newly-announced airports starting with Orbx, which continues its quest of enriching its home country, Australia. The developer announced Rockhampton Airport (YBRK) in central Queensland. This is another smaller regional airport, but it still hosts many scheduled passenger flights to various locations in the country.
It also hosts the Royal Flying Doctors and Helicopter Rescue Services and military operations, represented by a static MQ-28 Ghost Bat UAV developed by Boeing Australia for the Royal Australian Air Force.
No release date has been shared but the turnaround following Orbx's announcements is usually pretty short. We also get plenty of screenshots.
Last, but not least, 29Palms Scenery Design announced Santorini International Airport (LGSR) in Greece, with the package including the whole island and the nearly Thirasia island depicted in 3m per pixel resolution. Autogen buildings and vegetation will also be made more realistic and similar to their real-life counterparts.
This is great because the previous payware version we had for this popular holiday destination was launched a while ago already woefully outdated and the airport received widespread renovations including a whole new terminal building.
You can check out a few screenshots below.
