Microsoft Flight Simulator Airbus A330 by Aerosoft in Singapore Airlines Livery

Today third-party developers released new screenshots about upcoming aircraft and airport add-ons for Microsoft Flight Simulator

We start with another look at Aerosoft's Airbus A330, which got new images from project manager Mathijs Kok and beta tester BlackLiverieZ, showing a couple of different liveries and a detail of the flight deck.

We stay with Aerosoft for a brand new look at Oslo Gardermoen Airport (ENGM) serving the capital of Norway. As usual, the level of quality showcased by developer Jo Erlend Sund is pretty crazy.

We also get an update about the Boeing 757 by Blue Bird Simulations, showing the flight deck and providing info on what we can expect going forward.

In a few short weeks we'll show more previews of our updated VC. Here's a sneak peek but I've kept it dark on purpose. We are constantly working on enhancements and optimizations. This is still very much WIP but a lot of progress has been made. Just to give an idea, the VC has well over 1,200 animations which include switches, dials, knobs buttons etc. Not all are functional but that will change over time. It includes over 70 texture sets vs the previous version's 20. You will have an option to choose between 2k and 4k textures. Even at 2k, the textures look much better than our previous VC and at 4k ,it is absolutely stunning. Also, some more performance improvements in the code have been made on top of our last performance update. You can also notice the decoupled Capt. and FO displays. For those still wondering about the sounds, we hope to start on the custom sounds implementations in about a month. More updates to follow.

We then move on to Orbx, which showcased a new teaser video of Melbourne Airport (YMML) in Australia, showing the area of the ATC tower.

Last, but certainly not least, Pyreegue showcased more of the cargo terminals of East Midlands Airport (EGNX) in the UK.
