In gameplay captured in real-time, Rare has announced a new huge world adventure game that's quoted to be their biggest project yet. It's indicated that you can share your world adventures in it, and it is a Xbox One exclusive. What seems to be set in the world of pirates, footage shown include moving someone off the plank, fighting skeletons in a dark forest, and combat on the open seas. It's definitely filled with elements of Assassin's Creed 3 of sorts, but mixed within a possible MMO like world, based on name titles above the heads of the characters within the gameplay footage. There seems to be a mix of a first and third person perspective, but not a lot of detail was given during the presentation.

This seems to be one of Rare's new projects that isn't using the Kinect of any sort, which the company has been focusing on for a little bit now. The company has had some problems in terms of the gaming community's view as their Kinect focused games and the not well received Banjo & Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts. The company also announced a collection of games of their classic collection. Hopefully the iconic gaming franchise can make their way back into the gaming forefront.
