Microsoft E3 2015 - Gears 4 and Ultimate Edition

Gears of War Ultimate Edition has been announced for the Xbox One via the E3 stage this morning. This Ultimate Edition is a remake of the first Gears of War game that has been rebuilt from the ground up for the Xbox One. The game will run at 1080p and 60FPS and will also feature brand new content. This game will be released on Xbox One on August 25th. Gearbox also announced a new game with a trailer of two COGs walking through a dark forested area up towards the ruins of a house. Some things that really stand out are the lighting and weather effects of the trees in the wind. After hearing a noise and spotting something on the roof they take chase. Suddenly the world around them starts falling to pieces as a large menacing tornado forms and begins to destroy the terrain. After finally tracking down the creature it leaps from the roof to attack them. We see standard GoW features such as the weapons, cover system and active reload are all returning from prior games for this dark new episode in the series simply titles Gears 4.
