Microsoft has revealed details regarding next-gen consoles and its Xbox All Access service. When the consoles launch, you'll be able to get an Xbox Series X or Series S with 24 months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate from $24.99 a month.

What does Xbox All Access include?

If you buy Xbox All Access, you'll get either an Xbox Series S or Xbox Series X console and 24 months of Microsoft's Xbox Game Pass Ultimate service. Game Pass Ultimate allows you to play games included with Xbox Game Pass on both your console and PC where applicable. You'll also get access to Microsoft's xCloud service with Ultimate starting from September 15th. Naturally, the pricing is different depending on whether you opt for the less powerful Series S or the flagship Series X. It's $24.99/mo for an Xbox Series S and $34.99 for a Series X. Either way, you'll still get a Game Pass Ultimate subscription too.

In addition to this news, Microsoft has also announced that Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members - as well as Xbox Game Pass for PC members - now get an EA Play membership at no additional cost. EA Play grants access to popular EA franchises like Mass Effect, Titanfall, and Need for Speed, as well as in-game challenges, rewards, and member-only content. This membership is included in your Game Pass subscription, and if you're on PC, you won't need to download EA's Origin app to play the games either; they'll be available via the Windows Store.

Where is Xbox All Access available?

Right now, Xbox All Access is available in the US, UK, Australia, and New Zealand, but Microsoft will be extending availability when the new consoles launch. You'll only be able to avail yourself of Xbox All Access at certain retailers, though. Here's the new expanded list of territories coming this holiday, with even more becoming available in 2021:

  • Australia at Telstra
  • Canada at EB Games (aka Gamestop)
  • Denmark at Elgiganten
  • Finland at Gigantti
  • France at FNAC
  • New Zealand at Spark
  • Norway at Elkjøp
  • Poland at Media Expert
  • South Korea at SK Telecom
  • Sweden at Elgiganten
  • UK at GAME and Smyths Toys
  • United States at Best Buy, GameStop, Target, Microsoft Store, and Walmart

If you're an existing Xbox All Access member, Microsoft says that starting today, you can purchase a Series X or Series X with All Access at any time including during the pre-order window while still completing your minimum payment requirements.
