Microsoft has started an Xbox Game Pass Quest, and if you participate in it you can get yourself some Microsoft Reward Points and a copy of The Blair Witch Project.

The general idea of it is pretty simple: for every 1 achievement point you earn in a specific list of Xbox Game Pass games, you get 1 Microsoft Reward Point, up until you get 10,000 of them. For those wondering, that's the equivalent of $10. Which games are eligible? Here's the full list:

  • Ashes Cricket
  • Blair Witch
  • Dead Rising 4
  • Dead by Daylight
  • Devil May Cry 5
  • Halo: The Master Chief Collection
  • Just Cause 4
  • Kingdom Come: Deliverance
  • LEGO City Undercover
  • Metro Exodus
  • Middle-Earth: Shadow of War
  • Minecraft
  • Mortal Kombat X
  • Pro Evolution Soccer 2019
  • Sea of Thieves
  • Stellaris
  • The Bards Tail IV
  • Worms W.M.D.
  • Yoku's Island Express
There are also some special quests you can participate in to get bonus points. The first achievement you get in Devil May Cry 5 and Sea of Thieves will both be worth a bonus 100 points. The "Step Back in Time" quest gives you a bonus 300 points for earning any achievement in Kingdom Come: Deliverance, Middle-Earth: Shadow of War, and Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor. The "Fun For Everyone" quest nabs you a nifty 400 bonus points for getting at least one achievement in Minecraft, Astroneer, LEGO City Undercover, and Supermarket Shriek. Finally, the "ID@Xbox" quest will give another 300 bonus points for getting 3 different achievements across any 3 ID@Xbox games.

As a neat little bonus, completing any quest will also get you a free copy of 1999 horror classic The Blair Witch Project, which I'm not entirely sure fits with the Fun For Everyone quest, but I'm sure someone will enjoy it.

The first Xbox Game Pass Quest is currently active and is running until September 30th.

How do you feel about the quest? Are you going to partake in it? Any games you think you can get some easy achievements from? Let us know in the comments below!
