Xbox Game Pass October 1

Microsoft has announced the first batch of games coming to the Xbox Game Pass this month.

Before any games though, starting today the Game Pass version of State of Decay 2 will get a costume pack DLC, which includes 51 new outfits and 30 new hats. Everyone loves new hats. Microsoft also reminded everyone that, while it's technically not part of this update, The Outer Worlds will be available to all Game Pass users when it launches on October 25th.

The first game gets added on October 3rd, and it's popular stealth action game Dishonored 2. The follow up to the original, here you'll be traveling to a new city and taking the role of either bodyguard Corvo or his daughter Empress Emily. Naturally, there are tons of sneaking, stealing, and stabbing to do. You can read our full review here.

On October 10th two more games join the line-up. First is third-person co-op shooter World War Z. You and up to three friends will team up and gun down hoards of zombies. Tons of them. Literally, hundreds, as they all swarm the players at the same time. You can read our review here. The other game you'll get this month is Yooka-Laylee, a 3d platformer and Kickstarter success story that sees to emulate the classic collectathon games. We have a review of this one as well.

The third batch arrives on October 17th and includes three more games. First up is Fallout: New Vegas, the Xbox 360 first-person RPG. This entry into the series sees you playing as a random courier as he attempts to deliver a mysterious platinum chip to New Vegas. Of course, he gets shot in the head, putting a bit of a damper on his journey. The second game you can get is Panzer Dragoon Orta, an original Xbox backward compatible game. Its an on-rails shooter about a girl who finds and befriends a dragon, which is the coolest thing to find and befriend. Finally, you'll get Felix the Reaper, a totally new release. The game has you playing as a dancing reaper as he needs to set people's deaths up while avoiding the sun.

All these games will be available on the Xbox Game Pass for Xbox One. There's currently no word on what this months' PC games will be yet, but as soon as we know we'll let you know.

How do you feel about this batch of games? Excited for any of them in particular? Can you pull off the sweet moves that Felix can? Let us know in the comments below!
