The content for the Metro Exodus Expansion Pass has finally been revealed. Two new original stories exploring the game's side characters will be made available in the near future, giving players the opportunity to step back into the world of Metro.

The first DLC in the Metro Exodus Expansion Pass will be The Two Colonels. Colonel Khlebnikov resides under the dead city of Novosibirsk, one year before Artyom and Colonel Miller make their own journey underground in the final chapter of the game proper. Colonel Khlebnikov wants to visit his son for New Year's Eve, but the precious medicine that keeps them alive is running out and the mutant attacks appear to be intensifying.

Several months later, Sam's Story will take players to Vladivostok to play the sole American on the Aurora crew. Sam wants to return to the United States, but it will be a perilous journey that will require all of his skills to survive.

Here's where you can get the Metro Exodus Expansion Pass and the base game:

Our review of Metro Exodus highlighted the sheer potential of the world for additional content; it was one of the things that we said we'd like to see in future DLC. We can't say for sure if this is all of the DLC content we'll be seeing, but these two upcoming stories are sure to be entertaining!

Don't forget that the Epic Mega Sale is currently underway and you can get Metro Exodus on the Epic Games Store for just $34.99 or your regional equivalent! The Two Colonels will be coming to the Metro Exodus Expansion Pass in the Summer of 2019 and Sam's Story will launch in early 2020. Interestingly, Sam's Story should be launching right around the time that the exclusivity contract with Epic Games runs out and the game launches on Steam. I'm excited to return to the world of Metro once again!

I've had a controller in my hand since I was 4 and I haven't stopped gaming since. CCGs, Tabletop Games, Pen & Paper RPGs - I've tried a whole bunch of stuff over the years and I'm always looking to try more!
