Megadimension Neptunia VII

Idea Factory International announced this morning that the Compile Heart developed Megadimension Neptunia VII, originally releasing to the West on the PlayStation 4 this last February, will be coming to PCs via Steam this summer.  In addition to this, there will be a closed beta period to test the game on a variety of PC builds starting May 5th and going to May 30th.

Idea Factory International has so far ported a majority of its recent releases to Steam, the most recent release being Hyperdevotion Noire: Goddess Black Heart, a strategy RPG spinoff of the Neptunia series, and plans for Trillion 1,000,000,000,000: God of Destruction appear to be in the works with a PC rating submitted for the game a month after the original PS Vita release.  The release of Megadimension Neptunia VII marks the first PlayStation 4 title from Idea Factory to hit PC, as every title to hit Steam so far has been a PS Vita port.

Megadimension Neptunia offers three stories taking place in three different worlds and starring the familiar Neptunia cast of the four goddesses, their sisters, and some newer characters as well.  The PC version will be able to run at 60 frames per second and also have the original Japanese voice overs available - the PS4 version was able to run at 60 frames per second but would bog down in certain areas, and the original Japanese voice overs were offered as a free downloadable on the day of release.  The PC version will also have bundles of the original DLC available.

No solid release date is set as of this writing, only the Summer 2016 date range.  If you got an itch for Neptunia you need to scratch in the meantime, Megatagmension Blanc + Neptuna vs Zombies will be coming out next week on May 10th for the PS Vita.
