The Medium PS5 release date has finally been revealed — the game that was previously exclusive to the Xbox Series X|S is Coming to PlayStation later in 2021.

If you haven't yet played The Medium, you're missing out on one of the best survival horror games in recent memory. It definitely gives off a pretty strong Silent Hill vibe at first glance; if that's not a seal of quality for a horror game, I don't know what is.

The Medium is about more than just scaring your pants off, though. As the name and the spooky atmosphere imply, our hero is a psychic "medium" who can perceive both the real world and the spirit world. This is represented in-game with a split-screen mechanic where you control your character in both of these worlds at the same time; actions undertaken in one world could have an effect on the other, a mechanic that is critical for completing puzzles and advancing in the game.

A brand new PS5 reveal trailer launched today, showing off how The Medium will look on the PlayStation 5 console. It comes as no surprise that it looks just as good as it does on the Xbox Series X|S — and you'll be able to play it in just a few short months.

I've had a controller in my hand since I was 4 and I haven't stopped gaming since. CCGs, Tabletop Games, Pen & Paper RPGs - I've tried a whole bunch of stuff over the years and I'm always looking to try more!
