The MediEvil demo was reportedly leaked on the Japanese PlayStation store. This hotly-anticipated remake of a popular PlayStation game was announced on Halloween last year and will be launching in just a few short weeks, but it seems that the Japanese branch of PlayStation slipped up and made the demo accessible a little earlier than intended.
The MediEvil Demo is Already Gone
PlayStation Lifestyle reports that a Redditor on /r/PS4 linked to the MediEvil demo earlier this morning. While it was only available for a brief period of time, that didn't stop people from grabbing it before it disappeared.
One of these lucky people was a writer for Remote Play, and he happened to grab some screenshots which he shared on his Twitter:

"Medievil runs at 60fps on PS4 Pro," @YakuzaNinja4k said on Twitter. "The Graphics and the HDR look amazing on my Sony 4K TV. Gameplay is pretty good. This game needs a photo mode."
Will the MediEvil demo premiere at State of Play?
The timing of this demo going (briefly) live on the PlayStation Store may not be a coincidence — Sony's State of Play is going to be taking place later today at 4:00 PM Eastern. While no one had spotted the demo on any of the Western PlayStation Store websites, its late-night uploading may have been preparations to get it ready in time for the show.
We can't say for sure, but I would put my money on the developers revealing the demo and making it available during the show or later in the evening. If that's the case, you'll be able to see what the remake is like for yourself before the night is out. If not, we'll probably get it within the next couple of weeks at most.
In any case, you'll be able to pick up a copy of MediEvil yourself when it launches on October 25, 2019.
