Marvel's Avengers Update 2.7 comes with both the Cloning Lab Omega-Level Threat and Winter Soldier as a playable character. Basically, if you're still playing Marvel's Avengers over two years after its launch, you will soon have more things to do in-game when Marvel's Avengers' Winter Soldier launches on November 29th.

As for what you can expect from the Cloning Lab Omega-Level Threat, MODOK has taken over AIM's Cloning Lab. This means that you'll have to assemble with other players to fight through The Lab before facing off against MODOK for one last fight. It'll be four-against-one, so you'll have to coordinate in order to achieve sweet victory against the big-headed menace.

In order to enter the Cloning Lab, you'll need to have a Power Level of 175. The Lab will give you gear that will increase your Power Level to 185, which should give you and other players a reason to return and become more powerful Avengers.

That's a nice ship you have there. Would be a shame if the Avengers decided to blow it up...

As for what this new character will bring to Marvel's Avengers, Winter Soldier will join the game's roster as an almost "purely assault-focused hero focused on dealing damage to his enemies in a variety of ways". There will be multiple builds and playstyles that you can use to unlock Bucky Barnes' full potential, such as utilizing him as a ranged marksman, an expert hand-to-hand fighter, and the deadly super soldier that we all know.

While the Winter Soldier is similar to Black Widow and Captain America, you'll be seeing new animations, a new skill tree, and heroic abilities while playing as the newest character in Marvel's Avengers. There's also a heroic mission chain that will see him regaining his confidence to do good while dealing with past trauma. Should you complete the mission chain, you'll receive "Bucky's iconic outfit", which should get some people excited.

Considering the game doesn't have a roadmap anymore, the fact that it's still receiving substantial content is fairly remarkable, especially considering how underwhelming the game has been from a critical and sales perspective. The game has to stop updating eventually, right? I guess not anytime soon, at least. For more information on Marvel's Avengers and other games that keep receiving updates for some reason, stay tuned to TechRaptor.
