This new Marvel's Avengers trailer covers a lot of info in just three short minutes, so let's get right into breaking it down!
As you may know by now, a disaster on "A-Day" leaves San Francisco in ruins, forcing the Avengers to disband. Advanced Idea Mechanics (A.I.M.) takes their place and five years of time passes.
From there, an Avengers fangirl named Kamala Khan wants to prove the innocence of the heroes. Ultimately, her job is going to be to reassemble the Avengers, starting off by setting up a base of operations in a dilapidated, grounded Helicarrier. As time goes on, more Avengers will join your cause and the Helicarrier will be gradually repaired and upgraded.
These legendary Marvel heroes have decades of history and you'll get to rep that in-game. Each of the heroes has a bunch of different cosmetics that you can unlock, ranging from the awesome to the silly. (Hulk in a suit always looks sharp.)
Aside from the cosmetics, players will unlock gear for their heroes and perks to change how they play the game. While each of the Avengers will have their own unique abilities, players will be able to customize their playstyle to a degree through gear, perks, and skills.
What will you do with these guys, though? Hero Missions will be single-player campaign experiences that highlight individual heroes. The other side of the coin is Warzone Missions which can be played solo or online with up to 4 players.
